Default Lightweight car battery

I was just reading about how you can get 3kg battery which is more durable and last longer. Read here. I might be tempted.

Has anyone tried them? Are there any disadvantages?

If you're interested in smaller batteries API does a tiny evo battery about £60 which is fine and clears FMIC pipework.
