Default What is this, rolling around the boot of my 06

Hi

When I initinally picked up my 06 new this was sitting in the boot wrapped in bubble wrap, since then I have forgotton about it but came across it again at the weekend and thought it may be worth asking?

The two metal bits lock together with some supplied bolts and the other piece looks like a solenoid of some type!

Any ideas?
Thanks

There may be a problem that these parts where booked for..........it may be worth calling the dealer with the part numbers if you have them.

It could be a flux capacitor which can be used to facilitate time travel if connected correctly.
Someone in technical will be able to confirm this and probably recommend specific eras both in the past and future that are worth travelling to once you have it all sorted.
