Airbag warning light stays on

Airbag warning light stays on
Has anyone got any ideas of what I can check to get the warning light to go off, before I take the car to my dealer and give him loadsa dosh?

outside chance but check under your front seats and ensure the plugs for the side airbags are well connected (assuming all wrx's have side air bags)
my light stayed on and was traced to drivers side airbag
they unplugged then re-connected it and it was fine
cos my seat was moved back and forwards a lot the plug worked loose
worth a try???????

just about to say the same thing if it does not go of when you disconnect and re connect the plug under the drivers seat then try the one under the passengers hopefully it will work

Had this problem until I changed the battery. Not sure why but it was a persistent problem until the battery finally died and was changed. No problems since. WRX 03.
