What's the best brake discs and pads to out on ?
Hi , Me & OH purchased a Scooby 4 days ago and we want to replace the front discs and pads . What would you recommend and where would we get them ? The car is an X Reg 2.0L Turbo Dutch import which has on it at the moment 4 pot calipers , which when OH talks to me about cars he feels like this 
Oh and by the way , no I am not blonde !

Well, think your going to get loads of varying answers to this one, as we all have our own ideas and preferences.
So to start:
Black diamond grooved disks and Frodo DS 2500 pads (although I think they have changed the frodo pads name, someone will be along to confirm this, I'm sure) have been the best set up I have found so far, and thats ith trying Torax and Padget pads.

Depends on your budget.
I've got DBA 5500 2 piece disks and Pagid Blue pads. I don't think you can get a better road setup for these calipers IMO
