What's the best brake discs and pads to out on ?
 

Hi , Me & OH purchased a Scooby 4 days ago and we want to replace the front discs and pads . What would you recommend and where would we get them ? The car is an X Reg 2.0L Turbo Dutch import which has on it at the moment 4 pot calipers , which when OH talks to me about cars he feels like this :brickwall

Oh and by the way , no I am not blonde ! :)

Well, think your going to get loads of varying answers to this one, as we all have our own ideas and preferences.
So to start:

Black diamond grooved disks and Frodo DS 2500 pads (although I think they have changed the frodo pads name, someone will be along to confirm this, I'm sure) have been the best set up I have found so far, and thats ith trying Torax and Padget pads.

iv just got grooved mintex discs and padgid pads ,,,and there do very well

Depends on your budget.

I've got DBA 5500 2 piece disks and Pagid Blue pads. I don't think you can get a better road setup for these calipers IMO
