Smile PLANS FOR YOUR CAR THIS WEEKEND..

Friday afternoon looking out the office window bored, sat thinking about plans for my car over the weekend

Plan on...

- fitting my new strut & rear struts (anyone got a guide for fitting a newage rear strut?)
- detail
- fitting forge bov

What's everyone else got planned?

Picking my wheels from the sprayer - Gold to Gloss Black , then fitting them. A wash and polish Saturday then post a few piccys here on Scoobynet of the new look , then drink large amounts of Kroneburg in the garden .

hi fella,
takin mine up to redline racing @ halifax for a diagnostic run on rollers bit concerned about boost comin in late in 4th 5th gears. mate has arranged a rollin road day on the mlr site(evo owners) so am takin advantage of lower price.lol expectin a bit of friendly banter/abuse. no probs.have a great weekend all.

Just a thorough cleaning and going to take out the resonator thing in the inner wing of the car to see if I can get some more recirc dump valve noise.

Gallery section should be busy by Tuesday then - anyone point me in the right direction of a guide to fitting a rear strut to a newage?

Might have a drive down to Cheam motors to see what I can buy for Kabashibongo (my car), and get it booked in for a service.

Picking my 07 plate hawkeye STi up from Richmond and then entering scooby ownership!!!

Fitting my Kenwood DDX-7029 on the sunday and then giving it a good detail even though it has just been done.

Booking in to get a Revolution front splitter and then I'm on the hunt for some decent 18" alloys.

Still need to hear the Blitz Nur Spec R before I decide to buy.

off to Dawlish - 3 from Swindon , 1 from Bristol and meeting 3 others at Exeter plus hopefully 1 or 2 others there on Sunday - nice 250 mile round trip

I'm putting a flocked dash into mine, oil change and stiffening the ARB's up a hole allround.

This weekend has been a long time coming

Removing the complete exhaust heat shield, been making a horrid rattle since fitting new turbo, and I think thats the badger.

Find which exhaust gasket is leaking, fit new discs and pads all round.

Not a fooking thing cos it's still at Prosport getting some bits and bobs done. Can't wait till she's back i'm fed up of driving a 1.1i Saxo.

i have done mine tonight!!! it needs a mot tomorrow so tonight was my last night to do it

intercooler back on, DV back on, top strut brace back on, turbo bolted down fully and fitted my exhaust

Well,took my WRX engine out yesterday. Today I need to remove the turbo,inlet manifold,clutch and flywheel and a few other bits. Then I need to remove the turbo off my STI engine ready for the 18g or 20g turbo,remove the inlet manifold for the parallel fuel rail conversion and fit a new cambelt

hi all,
good to know your enjoyin your weekend. took scoob to the racing line to let matt have a look.had it on rollers running 220@ wheels and 283@ fly.standard car apart from hks stainless exhaust with both cats still in place and a set of irridium plugs.boost delay caused by faulty actuator or feckin turbo on way out.replace actuator first then see! best place to buy and estimate on price guys. classic sti v3 facelift model.
