Cheap Castrol Magnatec 10W40 A3/B3 Petrol Oil 2L Containers
Hi all,
Just incase anyone is interested Tesco Online seem to be doing very reasonable deals on oil. I personally do not work for Tesco so I am not advertising for them but I thought some of you may want to visit their website to grab a deal. The 10W40 Castrol Magnatec oil in 2L containers is retailing for £6.48 that is a great saving of 50% on most retailers, just stock yourselves up on two containers or more for each oil change if you change the oil on your car yourself and if this is your oil of choice! Just go to tesco.com click on the Tesco Direct icon, type oil in the search box and bob's your uncle especially with free collection from your local stores!
Regards
MikeyN
NOTE: The oil is that cheap, they seem to have just sold out on the website since I wrote this thread, my recommendation is to just check their website as I did, early AM another day if your in the market for this oil!

Comma 10W-40 Semi
Trago Mills, Stover
£7:75 for 5 litres ................. THATS a bargain!!
The offer above at £6:48 for 2 litres works out at £16:20 per 5 Litres ...... thats more than I pay for 5 Litres at any time.

Note that i did state that if this (Being the Castrol oil) is the oil of YOUR choice and that the price I quoted seems to be a very good price when being compared to other sellers prices of this product. I am aware that there are plenty of other lubricants on the market with also equally good prices as you have highlighted.

There is a long running thread in General Technical saying that Castrol Magnatec is NOT recommended for Scoobs. Hard to say who to believe, but personally, I'd rather try the Tesco full synth 5W/40 at £9 for 2 litres (in a new age).
Before you hold your head in despair, Pete, yes, this does mean spending £30 a year more than you (2 oil changes per year), but if the lower cold viscosity improves your mpg by 0.5, then it would pay for itself!
