Help!! Car wouldn't start.
Morning all, (Not good morning weather here is sh1te)
Went outside to drive to work as normal, it had been raining all night got in he car started fine drove to work stoped at the shop on the way, I went to start it again and it just wouldn't fire up????. Called the AA got off the phone and tried again and fine it started as normal, clearly water is getting in somewhere what am I to check would it be plugs? Dizzy cap???
With the English weather I need to address this soon.
Many thanks all and I look forward to hearing your views.

wouldnt mind betting its more likely to be your crank sensor, when these are on the way out or playing up, the car wont start when warm, very easy job to do, about 100 quid to buy and 5 minutes to fit.
youll find it in front of the engine directly below the belts at the front on top of the block, held in by 1 or 2 bolts, cant remember off the top of me head, but just undo them pull it out and put new one in and tighten bolts, job done

Mine does this now and again ..... very rarely, about twice a year.
It's just the sensors stopping at certain points in their measurements - you will probably find that it never happens again ..... but, if it does, the advice ref crank angle sensor is as good as anything

you should here a kinda of buzzing or ticking sound when it is pressurizing before starting, with regards to the crank sensor, you could try cleaning it for starters but i would imagine it wont do much good
