Guys gonna go have a look at one of these during the week, Is it known as the RA in 2001 and from 2002 the Spec C ?

Also is it a VF34 or a Twin Scroll Turbo thats on it. If anyone has any pictures that would be great

renno Im afraid I cant comment on the earlier models off the spec-c RA best person to pm about them would be tony burns,on the turbo side they either had the vf 36 twinscroll which was a roller bearing turbo which was found on the RA model or the vf 37 which was on the normal spec-c plain bearing. the s202 which was the earlier varient had a vf43 I think ?? rasher will probubly come along and confirm this or put me straight on this matter.

When the bugeye came out there was no follow through of the RA variant from the Classic.... it was only available in WRX and WRX STi guise. This was supposedly to allow for extra time to develop an EVO killer !!

The STi RA Spec C bugeye came out in Japan around December 2001 about a year after the launch of the original bugeye...water spray tank in the boot etc!! Not a twin scroll but a VF series turbo AFAIK but as Gussy says I'm sure Rasher will be along in a minute to put me right LOL

Yup it was just an RA for the MY01 model, runs a VF34 single scroll turbo, will still have all the nice bits like engine oil cooler and uprated cooling system, now im not sure these had the uprated fuel pump assembly like the Spec C's, but should have the 12ltr water tank.
