Hello all needs advice
Hello everyone. I have been looking on here for a few weeks now and i am looking to buy a classic in the next few weeks but dont really know that much about Subarus
Is there anything that i should be looking out for apart from the usual smoke, rattles and bogged bits?
I am used to turbo cars as i have owned an S2 Escort Rs turbo for 4 years now but think the time for a change has come plus i want something that is reliable
Thanks in advance for any advice

1. Buy a UK car.
2. Do NOT buy a cheap one
3. Ignore all cars which have been modified
4. Ask the age of the owner - aim for a car owned by a single owner since new and 40+ years old.
5. Don't buy a Mica Pink one
6. Check Service History - Full Subaru is best
7. Don't buy from a Chav or kiddie
8. Any signs of neons, induction kits, Gold Wheels, Cocklink - RUN AWAY FAST!
9. Buy a Wagon - faster and much more fun
10. Enjoy one of the best cars ever built

Take your time. So many Classics have been abused now. I had my fingers burned so am talking from experiance. Firstly do not listen to a word the seller says, take it all on board but do your own checks too. Mr. Lewis is very biased but a few of his suggestions are spot on.
When buying a Subaru do the exact same chacks that you would do with any other old used car.
