Should i hear this noise on my scooby????
Had my headers fitted yesterday. First time i've driven one with performance headers.
If i drive along in say 3rd gear and take it up to 4000rpm and lift foot of the acellerator the car makes a deep howelling noise.
I've had the bonnet up and revved it up from under the bonnet and it doesn't do it.
Have to say it sounds perfectly fine without a knocking, but due to previous scoobys going bang i'm cautious!!!

That was my thought it does seem to come from the car body.
Have to get it checked out. As it doesn't do it when stationary then presume it is that.
I think

they might not be hitting just resting on when under load etc and causing the car to act as a sounding can if you see what i mean.... slight different sizes and not a lot of space in there !
