Default Help on car value

Guys, trying to guage if I am getting a deal or not.

JDM STi Wagon 2002. Car is basically standard JDM spec, all original parts etc, albeit that it has got a monstrous STi backbox, which may be an upgrade. It's covered 37k miles, and is pretty good nick, a couple of small scratches but nothing untoward on a 5 yr old car.

I am looking at paying around £9k (plus I need to put a stereo in it) for it, may be a little less, but with there being so few around, it is hard to know if it represents good value.

Any opinions/thoughts greatly appreciated.
Cheers
Matt

matt,
Recently bought an 03 uk wagon with 44,500 on private from sheffield for less than that. I know the 50,000 service is now due but when its been done will still have cost me less than your £9000.

And you have no way of telling if its a genuine 37k, i would have any car im paying that much for profesionally inspected by the AA etc, especially an import.
