Default Subaru badge on boot lid

Is this just stuck on or is it also drilled/bolted on?

I think it looks a bit odd on the back of my car now I have removed all the after market STI badging... prefer the SUBARU lettering from the pre 05 cars to be honest.

<--- view

I'm going to remove it if it is just stuck on.

If you get it off (it will only be glued on) then I'll take it off your hands Thinking of losing the SUBARU letters and replacing with the logo you have.

I know the lettering used to be stuck... guess it is the same.

Look in the boot lid, you'll see if it comes through

I think I read on a US site that it is stuck on but if you remove it there is a hole underneath it. So I'd be very careful about removing it. Check if you can on the boot inside.

Andy.

I took off the "WRX" and "STi" badges from my MY05 with no problems. I used a heat gun, a card for applying fillers and lots of patience.

I've already done the STI and WRX badges as my car is a spec D and is not meant to have any badging like that.

They came off really easily with a bit of hot water, a credit card and AG tar remover. Took about 20 mins.

Is there anyway of changing the horrid UK lock to the far nicer JDM version, without swapping the boot..?

Why do UK cars have a different lock/keyhole to the JDM versions..?
