Ive got a Covercraft car cover that I got from a member a month or so back and im about to use it for the first time. (one week)

What I want to know is do you need to secure it on??

its got eyelets for the locking cable to go through but also material loops on the middle.

I wondered if I should put a strap under the car through the loops to hold it on, but this pulls the cover quite tight over the car or just let it lay on the car on its own??
