Water in the boot????
Hi All
I noticed the other day when I was looking in my boot I had quite a bit of water either side of the tyre left hand side where the car jack goes and on the right hand side, I got rid of it all with a sponge, washed the car later that day and surprise surprise more water in the same place.
I am guessing that the water is not draining away as it should be and its collecting here.
Can anyone give me any advice on how to sort this issue out, as I am guessing that it will rust as some stage if it keeps happening.
Its a 1999 2.0 Sport.
Cheers All
Matt.

Will more than likely be as youngstar says. Could be worth checking the boot gasket isn't full of leaves/dirt etc before though. This will cause an overflow of water into the boot.
If your rear lights aren't standard or have been removed at some point, they will probably be the problem.
