Default Back box gasket

Hi

I'm just sorting out a hole in my back box (5zigen).
I've just taken it off to get it repaired (I want to keep the 5zigen, as I love the sound, not too loud neither and can't find any new ones over here for sale), so now I'll need a new gasket.

Are the gaskets all the same?
Where can I get one, Subaru dealer?

Many thanks

To be honest I'm not into having jobs bodged, really want to do everything right. Thanks for you post though.

Anyways, just started to prepare the box for welding and when I shake it about it seems to be full of some loose bits, sounds like quite allot of metal bits?

Tried to shake them out but they aren't comming out either end, what could this be?
Is it time to find an alternative to my 5zigen?

Probably has some rust inside from the perforated core. nothing to worry about.
Regarding the gasket, it does seem proper to use one, but exhaust paste is just as good and in most cases better as sometimes the gasket does not seal perfectly.

Thanks guys.
Davey, fair comment lol.
So there's no baffles or anything that could've broken down to cause all thses loose bits?
