Default PPP Question

Could anyone quickly tell me if it's possible to determine whether an 04 sti has PPP from a physical inspection?

any info extremely gratefully received, local dealer doesn't know

thanks

For starters the back box will be stamped Prodive accross the top.
For confirmation phone prodrive with the chassis number.
Nik.

There should be a certificate of installation with the cars documents if it is fitted, if the dealer is a subaru dealer then he would know one way or the other,

Not 100% proof as owners may have done this themselves, but as well as a Prodrive backbox, there will be a blue Prodrive turbo hose visible under the intercooler and if you can get to the ecu, it will have a Prodrive sticker on it.

No hose on the STI, only the WRX.

Yes Martin, 2 quick checks, firstly the rear silencer on the exhuast will have 'Prodrive' written on it, secondly, lift the bonnet, then look just below the turbo at the downpipe and you should see a fat prodrive sports cat!

Assuming it had a previous owner, maybe they put it different hoses on?
