Default very slight rattle coming from rear right corner of my 2006 STI

heard it for about 2 weeks now.. had prodrive springs fitted about 2 months ago... but this last 2 weeks theres been a very slight rattle coming from the rear right, anyone know what this is? i've had a mechanic have a look around the wheel but he cant see anything, we even removed the rear seats to check the top nut wasnt loose but it was tight..

Have you fitted neon lights to the underside of the car ? If so maybe one of them has come loose and is rattling about.

hard to describe, but does it sound like it's inside or outside?

there's a well known problem rattle with the rear window, some are a slight noise, others(like mine ) are quite loud.

there is a strut issue aswell, but my money would be on the window.

here's a good thread https://www.scoobynet.com/scoobynet-...g-me-nuts.html

possible problems you may have buddy

1-struts failed,i am on my third set of rears(2007 sti)

2-rear window, the white plastic mounting clips squeek like a mo fo on the newage cars, easily solved by removing them

3-Is the rear seat fitted correctly ? after replacing the struts, the dealers never seem to re-fit the seats correctly and always miss one of the mounting points along the top edge.

4-the electric arial unit behind the rear passenger side quarter panel, this sometimes wear loose, simple screwdriver fix

All of the above i have had,but now sorted

Next im moving onto the front of the car, with a squeeky driver door tweeter and the God dam annoying rattle coming from the steering rack when cornering over un-even ground
