Default New Search Sucks!!!

Hi just a quick moan about the new search facility.......
I had a problem wi my scoob making a weird noise and so used the search to see if i could find posts on weird noises. Now i know the search still works pretty much the same, but only gives you the text from the thread and so doesn't allow you to comment on the thread!
I didn't directly solve my problem from a tread but from a link to a site on a different subject, but my problem is im not abel to help others with info i found on this noise because of the new search format, especially since this problem doesn't seem to have been covered on SN(or surley it would have
come up in search)?

ScoobyNet is certainly a great forum and been very helpful and will definatly continue using it but this seems to be a step backwards?
Its the principle,,been told you 'have' to pay £5 to use standard forum facilitys, allowing you to help people to the full!
I have made small donations to my other forum Datacave AKA MoDSHACK to help with server costs and such like and if SN is having problems surley that would be the way to go? Oh and wheres the New Post tab gone???
Regards Rich
Btw this was my problem...you never know it just mite help 1 member!
.
a strange mechanical noise coming from the engine compartment. It apparently sounded like a top-end engine noise, but was eventually traced to the brake pipes being too close to the bulkhead above the pedals. At certain revs, the resonating pipes vibrated loudly against the bulkhead. The problem was cured by gently easing the pipes away from the bulkhead.
