Is the issue that someone is trying to profit from this RB sticker?

If you can buy them and therefore contribute to the charity - he/she must have contributed to get it?

I think it stinks and I agree with the e-mails being sent ..... but, is it depriving the RB Foundation of anything? Just asking.

I can see scoobs all over the country being broken into just for the stickers!
It comes as no surprise that with the advent of Ebay there would be all sorts of scumbags trying to make money out of gullable people. It's the same with ticket touts, as long as there are mugs out there willing to pay silly money, there will be those all too willing to sell.

I like this one from the same seller

eBay.co.uk: Princess of Wales Diana & Charles Royal wedding - mug (item 270141217403 end time 10-Jul-07 11:27:41 BST)

You'd certainly have to be a MUG to buy that one

LOL at the buy it now price of that mug.. £149 presumably because it's "rare" apparently.

Interestingly it's so rare there's a couple more for sale at about a fiver or under!

Oh btw bidding has ended on the sticker!

Some more very high bids needed??

EDIT:- Seems in small writing that it is withdrawn?

whats the problem ?

the guy has something for sale and is selling it ?

he obviously bought it from the charity, paid his ££.

its like buying a coat from oxfam for £1 and selling it 2 yrs later on ebay for £10,wouldnt hear no one complaining then.

he owns the sticker,he`s selling the sticker, simple.

its like if i wanted to sell my shell key ring,i got it for free but if someone wants to give me £1 for it,fair do`s

i dont think the issue here is with the gentleman selling it on. to me the problem is the fact hes deliberatly mis-interpreting his advert. he states they are very rare, and only so many made. thats bollocks basically. as stated you can buy from rb5oc for £2.50, so theyre readily available and certainly not rare as rocking horse faeces.

thats what got my back up about it anyway. if he was just selling as he didnt want it, fair doo's, but hes obviously not. hes advertising falsely to try make a profit.

Chocolate o'brian has said the reason that I posted this thread up, mis-leading description and a price to reflect the 'rarity' when quite clearly it is not 'rare'.

The seller replied to a RB5 member saying that they thought that the production had stopped on the stickers.

Seller told me:

"I think there was about 5000 beofre they got told to stop!"

5,000 isn't exactly rare then either. And we've not been told to stop. haha.

Do you guys really think the seller is going to care about your emails?
And for those of you who setup a fake ebay account, just to put a silly bid on the sticker, GET A LIFE!
