Default CompBrake

I recently installed a front brake upgrade kit (330 x 32 Rotors) on my 1995 Classic STi RA from CompBrake in Preston, and I must say I am extremely happy with the kit.
If you do decide to buy from them, it is worth advising CompBrake the brand of alloy wheel you intend to fit the kit to, as my (DJ Racing Alloys) required 3mm spacers and extended studs.
The Hawk pads perform extremely well, and I would say the only negative is the amount of dust they produce.

My RA is virtually only used for track days, and the level of braking is now fantastic, giving me heaps of confidence and much later braking into bends.

I dealt with Steve Fell and the customer support he gave me was incredibly good and very helpful. I would certainly recommend their products and service. They provide superb performance and great value for money, compared with the well known brands.

I know quite a few rally cars running them and they all seem well happy. Just using their discs alone will save you money come replacement time as they use the same PCD as most AP's.

I'm thinking of getting some 6 pots from these guys - anyone have any recent experience if them ? Previous posts seem to refer to rattling pads and issues with seals although I know there are new kits around..

Not a recommendation but maybe a helping hand...

Len at Subaru4you was offering these last time I visited.

As I currently have small APs I decided not to upgrade but they a) look nice and b) the calipers are nice and light.
