Question

Does anyone out there have their subie with this mod?? Apart from 22b owners of course!! And what does everyone know about this modification.
Is it overkill for the gains made or is it a sensible option to gain ooddles of torque??

Any info or opinions greatly appreciated..

Thx
Bruiser

Tommy Kaira have a package here and is said to be very, very impressive.

The NA performance is better due to more capacity, but due to more gas being pushed the turbo comes in earlier too. Have to wonder about the fuel usage tho

Other makers are releasing them too, but so far the TK set up has got many good write-ups (have yet to see a back-to-back), but are not cheap!! Many have commented that perhaps because they have added things like oil jets and cooling mods to keep everything together that you have less to do later...

As far as I know, the JUN stroker kit is the best. It is a bit expensive, but you know how the story goes. You are required to fit big turbos with that conversion, so you don't get much response below 4500 rpm. But above them,oh my god, it is a missile.
But unless you do some kind of drag racing or circuit driving, it does not worth the expense. Did I also say that the car will be virtually non-driveable?

How about using a 2.2 litre Legacy turbo engine as the basis for this swap?? A 92ish Legacy motor should be available at a reasonable cost
