Mainland Subaru Widnes, is it still there????
Hi guys and gals,
Does anyone know if Mainland Widnes is still operating??? I havent had a Scoob for a while now, but went to see one yesterday, that had Full Subaru History, and the last few stamps were from Mainland! Now, I cant find any posts about them, and done a google and a Yell search to no avail. Im wondering if a dodgey stamp has been used The car was nice nice enough though, and was last owned by a guy from Rainhill, probably someone off here too. It had Prosport stickers in the back window too!
Cheers
Paul

Mainland closed down ages ago, cant remember exactly when, but I got a letter from Newcastle branch offering to continue my servicing there
You could contact the newcastle branch and find out when Widnes one closed down, if your concerned about the service history
Not sure if I actually saw that Scoob the other week driving round

My god, are you still here Sonic lol
The guy is based in North Wales. Ive been to see a few Scoobs now, and Im seeing more and more dodgey ones. Surely there must be a few decent Scoobs around still.
The thing is, this one seemed a very genuine car, very clean under the bonnet, nice and tight to drive, with the odd "age" related mark here and there. Just worried about the fully stamped book now Will ring the guy again, and make sure it said Widnes and not Newcastle-Under-Lyme
Cheers

I had Mainland do some work to mine about 14 months ago and they went soon after then...
I would say any stamp in the last 12 months would be a bit weird, unless, like Sonic says, it was done down in Staffs...
I'll be selling mine soon in the next few months
