In Yorkshire it's hard to fault Motorsport Wheels In Seacroft, Leeds. Keep an eye on Halfrauds though, as MSW supply them and unbelieveably they often have deals which see them selling wheel/tyre packages cheaper than MSW supply them for.

DB I would recomend Julien and Matt from RareRims they do some lovely wheels and are spot on for customer service. I had Prodrive PWRC1's until I bought the MY06 and they no longer fit. Although the rotas aren't finished quite as well as the Prodrives, they weigh 5lbs less and are half the price.

There was some initial concerns over the replica PFF7's which surfaced last year. The FF stands for "Flow Formed" which is a manufacturing process which casts the alloy under pressure, minimising air contamination and creating a stronger alloy, meaning you can use less of it to get a light, but stonger wheel. The copies were gravity formed but a direct casting, hence a weaker alloy but with the reduced physical proportions, potentially making them dangerously flimsy. Having said that, the experience seems to contradict the theory as I haven't heard of many failing. Older Prodrive wheels were rebranded OZ's anyway.
They're quite commonplace now, and so come in for a bit of flack, but for lightness, strength and good styling, the OZ Superlegerra was my dream wheel. The Ultralegerra may now replace it, but maybe they're both still available
In case you don't know, a light weight wheel reduces rotational mass, improving acceleration/decelleration and braking, and the lower unsprung weight improves handling as the suspension works a little better. Legerra's improved the handling on my Corrado massively.

Cost £1345 all in. Including Toyo Proxes T1R 225/40, balancing etc.
Expensive I knoe but overall around £600 cheaper than from the dealer.
Hope this helps. Website (but you have to call to order them) is TSL MOTORSPORT | Subaru Mitsubishi Classics | performance tuning | parts | repair | servicing | UK
Cheers

Forgive me if I read this wrong but , £600 cheaper than from the dealer genuine wheels from the dealer cost £900 with SIDC membership, (which is only about £30) and four toyos only cost £480 fitted in 235/40/18, which is a far preferable fit for the 18x8 wheel. Thats £1380 for the genuine article with better fitting tyres

Ok, wasn't clear, sounded like a bum deal. Go 235/40 if you can, the 18x8's look a little stretched on 225's and you have a greater risk of curbing as the rim protection on the tyre doesn't sit as well as on a 235/40.
I got x4 235/40/18 Vredestein SESSANTA which are a superior tyre in my view, for £435 fitted. Get SIDC membership £35 plus wheels from your dealer £900, thats £1370 and you have the benefit of future discounts with SIDC membership and better fitting tyres.
Not sure where the £600 saving comes in

Sorry mate I wasn't doubting your maths, but the deal you got really wasn't that good...
This is what Subaru sell.
18" Prodrive-FF7 Wheel & Pirelli P-Zero Nero tyre - GX, WRX and STi only.
Part No. SACC2561
£ 450.00 (inc. VAT, exc. Fitting - unless otherwise stated above)
£1800, so you saved £455, but actually you didn't because you went for a lesser tyre than the Pirelli P-Zero Nero. The Pirelli P-Zero Nero is a premium tyre compared to the toyo, so its not really a fair comparison. Also no-one in their right mind would buy tyres from a dealer. They are charging £70+ per tyre over their market value for the Pirelli P-Zero Nero.
If you bought toyos from your local tyre dealer (for me this would be Elite Direct.com - No. 1 retailer in England, UK: Car Tyres, Snow Tyres, Summer Tyres, Performance Tyres, Budget Tyres, Avon, Bridgstone, Continental, Dunlop, Pirelli, Falken, Hankook, Kumho, Goodyear, Fulda, Firestone, Michelin, Toyo, Yokohama, Unir) and the wheels from subaru with SIDC membership the cost would be £35 SIDC membership, £399 tryes fitted + £990wheels which is £1424 only £79 more than you paid. My point is buy 235/40 in a better tyre like the Ultrac and get the wheels from a dealer, you have a better deal at the same/similar money as what you paid.
If it were me I would go
SIDC membership £35
18" Prodrive-FF7 Wheel - £990
Vredestein SESSANTA 235/40R18 95Y - £435 (discounted over the phone)
£1460 and a better deal in my opinion
Your deal was good, and I am sure you are happy with it, but you did not save £600.
