I've just got a new car and only done about 350 miles so far but I've noticed that there is an annoying squeaking sound coming from the rubber baffle type device fitted under the bonnet scoop which overlies the intercooler when the bonnet is shut (presumably this is to stop the intercooler water spray going everywhere when operational). Obviously as soon as you open the bonnet the noise disappears. Have other owners noted this to be a problem, will it just eventually go with time or is there a simple fix for this short of trimming away bits of the rubber?

Silicone spray on the rubber and the part it touches, or even a wipe of grease.

OK, thanks I'll try the spray before resorting to vaseline
