Evening all just noticed when turning the steering wheel on full lock I.E reversing into or out of spaces and on stand still and turn the wheel on full lock a squeaking noise any ideas what this noise could be.Only happens when turn the wheel on full lock.

Had it been raining or you just washed it,if so it could be the antiroll bar bushes mine makes a noise only when wet,and was told not to worry about it

It does it when wet and dry.

Turn the car onto full lock, the power steering pump runs, but cannot turn the car any further, so fluid is bled back. Hence the squeak.

Mine has done it from new, nearly 9 years ago. It's still OK

The noise has now started when starting the car from cold (noticed for the first time this evening while leaving work to come home) and just turning the wheel slightly left or right but not when moving me thinks only when at standstill and pulling off slowly .Didn't have a good response last time but advice and suggestions on what could be wrong and how much is appreicated before car goes to garage wednesday or thursday this week.HELP PLEASE SCOOBY NETTERS.
