Just had a scan through the brochure (sp?) which came with my MY99 and black is not a colour they did

I think they only did black mica in the Ltd Catalunya editions which 200 cars were made???

sport specials were 200 yellow and 200 black. dunno about turbo models though...

Mate has a black STI facelift classic
It's the only one I have seen.

There is a black facelifted classic near me, not sure what model it is though. I think its an X reg.

May be a Sport Special as stated, with a Scoop! See if it's got Yellow inserts on the seats.

The only black classic uk turbos were the catalunyas - And they were face lifts (1996-7).

Nope, there were some black UK Turbos prior to the Cataluyna, but not very many.
