Is it possible to fit MY01 alloys (Which are pretty good, I think) onto an MY97 or MY98? IF so, can I get the alloys by themselves and finally, who from? Do Scoobysport do them, or do I need to go to a main dealer?
Thanks and I hope you had a good Christmas.
Maz.

They will fit, but you need to replace the tyres as the MY'01 tyres are larger than that of the <= MY'00.
Rgds, Alex
PS. dunno who does them, other than subaru.. perhaps speak to those that have upgraded to 18"s and see if they are selling them (i've sold mine before you ask ).

I sold two sets of MY01 wheels and 215/45x17's, one went on a 97 Catalunya, the other on a 99 STI5 on lowered Leda suspension. Neither rubbed - BUT try before you buy.
If you purchase from a Subaru dealer, the likely cost is probably in excess of £300 PER CORNER. They come up regularly on the for sale section, new or near new, and the going rate is about £450 to £500 per set of four wheels and tyres.....
As for the difference in diameter:
205/55x15 = 607mm dia
205/50x16 = 612mm dia
215/45x17 = 626mm dia
So a worn 17 is about the same diameter as a new 16 - doesn't make a huge amount of difference.
