Default What's my car worth?

Thinking of selling my car and was wondering what kind of price I could expect?

12000 miles 06 STI spec D with a few minor mods - see view my scooby.

Parkers tells me: £19,315

Queried a p/x and got quoted £16k lol

Thanks,

Michael

Unfortunately for you, due to a run out campain on these not so long ago, dealers were able to sell brand new ones for £18,995. So £16k in p/ex is about right. Sorry to be the bearer of bad news.

Looks like a nice car m8, I would have thought it to be worth £19k or there abouts. I know pre-reg models were being sold a few months ago for £19,995 on 56 plates. I assume you paid £27k ish for it and want to minimise your losses. If you paid less then you can afford to go a bit lower. At the end of the day its worth what someone wants to pay for it. Advertise it at £19,750ono for starters and be willing to knock a bit off. I did a search in trader and there are none for sale privately so their relative rarety still, should help. You can always drop the price if no-one is interested.
Good luck.

I didn't pay the full price so won't lose too much if sold it for £19kish.

I'm still in two minds as love it and planned to put more into it but not sure if can justify the cost of it as a second motor... ah decisions decisions

I think I am mainly just annoyed at the tax tbh.

Go for a spirited drive and don't be shy with the loud pedal.

That should make your mind up.

Another up for sale

Subaru : 2007 STi Spec-D

Nature of the beast really, Imprezas are expensive cars to buy and run, and are getting more so.

Keep it man, there really nice cars, I'd have bought one if I had not just bought my STi PPP. Stuff the tax and don't let them put you off!
If we all bought 1.0lt cars tomorrow do you really think that would be the end of it.... NO WAY! They will simply find reason's to tax something else to replace the lost revenue
Keep it, keep it, keep it!

Ah screw it, I'm not selling. Those greenies can choke on my emmissions, and since I am now paying full whack I am gonna produce more to get my moneys worth.

Saving up for an ECU remap and knocking the new Mini Cooper S idea on the head... did I just say that out loud?

Thats the spirit, get your moneys worth, few mods and you will be hitting 360bhp and lots more lovely emissions. I sold both my cars for the Spec D so I will be producing less emissions and yet the tax is probably the same

I toyed with the idea of a Cooper S, but you will get bored of it pretty quick.
