Prodrive driving day.
I'm going on Friday 27th July. 
Anyone else from here going / been on one..?

I've done the Prodrive Mazda day when I first had my RX8. It's a lot of fun and a good chance to really understand your car and what it can do. If it is a similar format then it will be partly tracked based and partly on the road.
The most impressive thing for me was realising just how good modern brakes are (especially good on the RX8) - doing 100+mph and then being told to hit the brakes as hard as you can and take your hands off the wheel is a little interesting! Shows how effective EBD is with ABS.
It's a damn good day out that's for sure.

I've organised a group of 12 of us going on that day
That includes 5 of us from Essex Scooby Crew.
About half of us are travelling up the day before and staying in a nice hotel for the night so we are bright and breezy for the following day.

When I spoke to Sharon the bookings lady, she told me that Essex police were also thinking of attending on that date as they have just taken delivery of two scoobs on the force there. Or was that you feeding them a line...?!

1. Arrive - Bacon Sandwiches & registration
2. Split into groups
3. High speed track (bout 4 circuits) & skid pan (funny as ****)
4. Lunch
5. Rally stage (stop the world I feel sick)
and 4x4 driving (the slower the better) 
6. Coffe - then home (high speed track stylee)

Basically its at Prodrives proving ground in Warwickshire (thus the reason we are staying at a hotel at VERY good rates) and its £250 for the day.
