Is this a full decat or just centre Etc, ??

If full decat it will improve spool up & performace slightly, But no where near as much as some say down the Pub
10 through to 20 Bhp Max. All cars react differently , some better than others, But a worthy Mod especially if you have further power plans, You may want to upgrade the fuel pump to a high flow one, if you have not already.

Shouldn't be a centre cat on the 94wrx (i may be wrong).
Did a decat on my 93wrx and the spool up is quicker and does release 'hidden' hp to get the most out of it a remap of sort would be in order.

2 options
1: fully remappble ecu (Motec,Hydra,Gems,Apexi etc)
2:PolarPerformance do a range of options to suit your budget.

Sorry to hijack the thread, but I have been thinking about an ECU remap myself on my currently more or less standard 06 STI. Do you need to do anything else, like a decat or a high flow fuel pump?

I'm looking for around about 340-350 bhp.

On an 06 Sti, Fuel pump as standard will be fine, Decat & performance panel filter & an Ecutek remap should net you towards the figure.

as said before - 15 - 20 extra BHP .....................Had it down on our MY99 and yes did feel a bit more torquee.................Gonna get it down on our Jap 96 as well..................and BTW stuff the enviroment cos dinasaurs farted and a number of Comets havent ended life on Earth
