i did another bit of delving and found theres a meet up at meadowhall retail park around 8.30 on sunday morning.

is this actually meadowhall the shopping centre or is there another retail park nearby. apologies for the daft question, i dont know sheffield well, and would much rather meet up with a convoy then travel alone...

 

No, two different places (but very close to each other), if you follow the signs off the motorway to Meadowhall Shopping Centre where you would do a right turn at the roundabout for the S.C you need to carry on and the retail park is on your left hand side. I think the road you want is the A6178.HTH.

think i know where you mean actally. i come iff the m1 on junction 34, get down to the bottom of the sliproad, take a left, and then usually take a right on the bigger roundabout and then follow through into the carpark. so where the traffic lights are i go straight ahead.

a mate of mine may be going and he knows the way directly to ripon off his head. but i fancied getting the atmosphere in with a convoy.

As we all know,the northern big one at lightwater valley is just around the corner,i have put up a thread over on scoobynet for a final meet point at ferrybridge services at 9:30-10:00 am,departing at 10:15 from ferrybridge for our final run up to lightwater valley ready for the 11:00 am show/meet opening time

So,all people attending this year please meet at meadowhall retail park between 8:30-8:45 ready for a 9:00 am depart from meadowhall,this should see us hit ferrybridge about 9:30-9:40,we will be taking the M1/m62 route as some of the west yorkshire lads may be intercepting us at around junction 39/40 of the M1


I can put u on the list if u want m8.

 

Not Sure if we still class as "Boy racers" anymore , Besides its coincedence not a convoy we just happened to be hear at the same time
