N.B.O. meetup
not sure where to start. erm im now able to go to the n.b.o. on sunday. im going it alone as im not a mamber of any groups/clubs.
live in scun.thorpe, and curious if anyone is meeting up anywhere near me so i can convoy perhaps with them.
tryed a search... no luck
apologies if im in the wrong section too.
anyone help. im crap on motorways

i did another bit of delving and found theres a meet up at meadowhall retail park around 8.30 on sunday morning.
is this actually meadowhall the shopping centre or is there another retail park nearby. apologies for the daft question, i dont know sheffield well, and would much rather meet up with a convoy then travel alone...

No, two different places (but very close to each other), if you follow the signs off the motorway to Meadowhall Shopping Centre where you would do a right turn at the roundabout for the S.C you need to carry on and the retail park is on your left hand side. I think the road you want is the A6178.HTH.

An order was granted at Nottingham County Court yesterday which granted an injunction for the whole county - the first of its kind in the UK.
It prevents "five or more motor vehicles from congregating together, driving in convoy or racing each other on the highway who by their conduct make excessive noise, cause danger to road users or risk injury or risk damage to property". The order is in place for two years, and may then be reviewed.

a mate of mine may be going and he knows the way directly to ripon off his head. but i fancied getting the atmosphere in with a convoy.

As we all know,the northern big one at lightwater valley is just around the corner,i have put up a thread over on scoobynet for a final meet point at ferrybridge services at 9:30-10:00 am,departing at 10:15 from ferrybridge for our final run up to lightwater valley ready for the 11:00 am show/meet opening time
So,all people attending this year please meet at meadowhall retail park between 8:30-8:45 ready for a 9:00 am depart from meadowhall,this should see us hit ferrybridge about 9:30-9:40,we will be taking the M1/m62 route as some of the west yorkshire lads may be intercepting us at around junction 39/40 of the M1
I can put u on the list if u want m8.
