I think your confusing your solenoids, most Impreza's have two, one is the BCS, the other is the control solenoid to the MAP (Manifold Absolute Pressure) sensor for the ECU, which is 3 wire and has Denso written on it, located on classics at least just above the two solenoids on the drivers side inner wing on the front edge of the strut tower.

I see. Which is the boost solenoid?
Theres one with 3 pipes coming from it, its black and i think its plastic. Its hard to reach as the alarm is bolted just above it

The boost solenoid is the three piper (some are 2 depending on year) one from the turbo and one to the intake pipe, the other one has two pipes (and a filter) one from the manifold, the other to the MAP sensor..
