Default ideas on sti pedals?

just mooching ebay and ive seen some sti pedals. generally there £89.85 and delievery, but theres a couple second hand sets on there from a reputable company. just wondering what sort of price would be reasonable to bid upto for a used set, complete with footreast fittings etc.

I remember being involved with a group buy a couple of years ago and we all got them for around £60 if I remember right.

Second hand, who knows what they are worth? Whatever somone is willing to pay for them I suppose.

If it was me and I wanted a second hand set, I would look at 50% original cost, unless they were on the car for 5 minutes or so.

yeah, sure theres places do them cheaper than that, like around £75-80

the original rubber ones on my clutch and brake pedals are foofed, and the plastic acc. and footrest plates have seen better days too.

would rather spend the money on decent pedals than some halfors £10 drill yourself jobbies.

At the end of the day does it matter if they are slightly worn? They will spend their entire life underneath one of your feet

I remember buying mine then afterwards thinking, lot of money for nothing.

It wasnt difficult, a couple of nuts and bolts if memory serves.

To put it bluntly I am worse than useless when it comes to tinkering with cars, if I can do it anyone, including backward lemmings can do it.

These pedals, do they just clip over your existing ribber ones so the pedals are nearer you - less room?

Careful with the japanparts one, I used them n got screwed on import duty, ended up paying near the retail price of £90 at the time.

Brian, I have a spare STi footrest n throttle pedal, but no clutch n brake ones unfortunately. Do you want those? at reduced price of course. Let me know. Throttle pedal just slips over the existing one, one thin bar n nut. Footrest obviously replaces the original with 2 bolts. They're used btw so not mint, but still red n shiney

apprecaite the offer, its the brake and clutch rubbers that are foofed mainly. unless someone had the other two pedals, wouldnt it look silly. without sounding ungrateful.

No offence taken (cheeky ungrateful b4stard!)

Well yea it wouldnt look perfect, you could just have the STi footrest, n keep the other pedals standard, and it would be alot cheaper
