Question Got A chance To Use A SL55 AMG For A Weekend

Any Fellow Scooby Neters driven one or know anything about them.

Apparantly this one has had a few tweaks done to it and is pushing out just over 600 BHP.

Project Khan have been involved with some of the styling of it.

It looks well, its got the "New" Nose cone on and some serious 20" wheels.

Watch this space.

I think the SL55 AMG`s are about 480BHP standard but as I said its been, "Played" with.

This one went past me at full chat the other day when I was stood outside my car and it sounded like a WWII Spitfire.

I`ll go now as I`m getting a little too excited and people are beging to notice in the office when I walk to the Copy Machine

It's the torque with these cars that makes them so stupidly rapid. The '65' version has it's torque limited because the gearbox cannot cope!

I think the 65 has 750 Nm of Torque.

Could be a bit rapid in any gear

If it's been styled by Khan then It's gonna look $hite IMO. So when you go out in it wear a mask to cover your face up Unless you are a chavvy type and like that sort of thing

600bhp should be fun though.

According to Evo it has 737lb ft of torque (1,000 Nm!!!!!) which produced between 2-4k rpm. That is just

I think you may be marginally safer with the '55', as that 'only' has 531lb ft.

I had a standard SL55 for a few weeks and they truly are an awesome motor. All I can say is make sure the road is bone dry before you think about pushing the go pedal, it really can get quite lary. However for the money I would expect an outstanding piece of engineering.

As mentioned I'm not quite sure about the Kahn wheels etc. The polished 18" multispoked wheels look just fine along with a nice drop in the ride height.

Errr Yes I do! Have you seen Khan's Bentley's and Range Rovers? Absolutely ruins the cars. What makes it even more unbelievable is that people are actually buying these cars I drive past their spot most days and their car park is full of these cars. Putting massive wheels on cars and body kits on a car does not always suit the car and in Khan's case they do it with the wrong models.

If you have the money to waste on such kits then give it to me it is a much better waste of money
