colour change affect insurance??

colour change affect insurance??
my car is silver if i get it sprayed matt black will i have to tell me insurance and will it affect the price any one done this and no????cheers

I'd tell the DVLA for a start, then I'd inform the insurance company asap

going to change the v5 obviously but just wondered about insurance b4 i do it if it affects it might not do it so??

may well reduce your premium,you will be reducing the value of your car.
but it's your scoob,try it,if you dont like it paint it again.

shiny black would be faster than matt black,due to a better drag coefficient
