The swinton scoob is not a hoax...

It will genuinely be won be someone, when it is drawn on October 1st.

They will be at Ten of the best as well.

P.S. No I do not work for them, BUT I do know they are pretty genuine about the whole Scoob/modifying car scene...albeit newcomers.

Going out on a limb here but just to clarify what's been posted. It is a genuine prize draw - free of charge and includes the Swinton Scooby (1995 WRX Jap import), £2k of vouchers to spend at Demon Tweeks and free insurance for a year. It will be drawn on 1st October.
We've been at Donny, an open day at Demon Tweeks, the Scooby Shoot Out, and JTS just this past weekend. We'll be going to 10 of the Best in July and the last show we'll be at will be Trax - then a few days later we do the prize draw. Don't know where the 'it's drawn next week' stuff came from - not my team, otherwise there'll be a kicking - 1st of October it is.

Swinton Specialist are new and have done this to show we are serious about the market, are enthusiasts for the cars we're aiming at (we've even made a couple of videos of the shows we've been to for the rest of the team back at HQ) - and obviously to collect leads from our potential market. It's not designed so you'll get pestered - worst thing that can happen if you enter is we contact you to see if we can save you money/improve your insurance cover.

P.S. I do work for Swinton, so here comes the legal bit:

Has the car had the damage sorted from SSO?
From when your marquee decided to take off?!?
Or was it just superficial stuff??

The flying marquee did make a bit of a dent or two. We've added a few more weights to the tent since then.

Hasn't been sorted yet - we only had a week between the two shows so didn't have time, but rest assured it will be - and properly too. As part of our research we've made excellent contacts for bodywork/tuning etc, so it will be sorted well before we give it away. Hopefully have it sorted in time for 10 of the best.......we'll see.

Yes it's true - didn't know we'd started recruiting at shows though. We're probably more interested in getting people who know about the cars we're insuring rather than insurance - we can teach them the insurance side of things. What we want are people who are interested in the cars.

Not sure exactly of salary etc - usually a basic plus bonus but I can get a contact if it helps?
