Just my luck
Bought a 96 WRX not long ago
Wasnt ready to drive it yet so I left it at my Mothers house until I sorted insurance out. The whole reason I left it there in the first place was because its 'supposed' to be a nice area, rather than where I live myself. It was parked in my Mothers off road driveway. Yes car crime can happen anywhere i know that but ah well. So anyway..
Ok the very first night a couple of idiots broke in and 'attempted' to hotwire it.
The ignition and where the key goes in has been prised off.
I went to Montys of Sheffield to see about getting it fixed, and they said they were unwilling to fix it. why the hell is this? Surely the one person that should be able to fix it for me is Subarau themselves no?
Not even too sure what the point of this thread is actually. Does anyone know why they would be unwilling to do this? Considering I have got the log book in my name (well I do now anyway, its been a while).
They told me to perhaps contact someone like "Scooby Bits" in Chesterfield so Ill give them a try in the morning.

two points mate...
1. they may have been reluctant to deal with your car as its an import, and many dealers say no for this reason.
2. scoobybits is NOT in chesterfield. its in rotherham. i should know its my second home

try jase on monday. i know he might not be in, think its a family members birthday or something. someone should be there though. would imagine he'll have a lock set etc in his "DEN"
