Wink Wheel / Tyre Loan to check fit?

Could anyone lend me a Newage wheel with a 225/45/17 tyre on so I can try and get it to fit? Would need PCD of 100 to go on classic car.

What do you need to know? The newage wheels DO fit classics , that is newage wheels up to 2005 IIRC.

The tyre size you quote looks a bit big, you may get rubbing. Accepted size to avoid rubbing is 215/40 17"

I'd like to use the Bridgestone RE070 on my '95 STi RA hillclimber. I believe these to be to stickiest 1A tyre.

Don't mind a bit of modding, Arch rolling / pulled out? etc?

I do have Speedline 17x7j et48 but believe these won't be wide enough.

OR, are the advantages not worth the hassle/cost and I should just put on some 215/40/17's!!?
