How fast is that in a simple manual shift Impreza with no Carbon anywhere?
May be modern WRC cars are lardy and there are only 2 real hard chargers in the contest and neither sadly drive the Impreza.
Colin in a modern Impreza?
WRC might suddenly become popular again!

class, the good old days of rallying with mcrae and burns. think the only reason he got the nickname of mccrash is because he was always giving it a 110%.
that is simply amazing to watch.

I'm only guessing but I suspect the 07 WRC car would make your classic look like a right lardy arsed fatty on the scales

I watched the Rally Fever on Sky last night, Ilse of Man rally full of WRC cars and ballistic Irish pilots. Just so good to watch, fast furious and frantic, **** weather then dry and on tarmac slicks, just fab.
Colin was there too in his demon MkII Escort and was up to 5th overall till the diff snapped.
That's 5th amongst all the £250K WRC cars Impreza's and EVO's.
The hour was great, the coverage was clean and simple, and the people real.
The Impreza's were fantastic...if only Colin was in one.
Flat out, risk taking and dramatic, cool in and out of the car.
Surly a marketing man's dream come true, but Subaru/Prodrive knew that 10 years ago and (two) legends were born.
Colin and the Impreza.
Burns came and did the very same thing.
Graham.
