I have an import WRX it was SVA in July 2000 on the V5 it says register 8 November 2000. It also declared built in 2000.
In my Best Chris Tarrant voice :
"When is the first MOT due for this car ?".
A. July 2003
B. November 2003
C. July 2001
D. November 2001
and you cant ask the audience or go 50/50.
You can of course phone a friend 'cause I cant check anyway
.
My instincts tell me November 2003 but the car is a 'W' reg work that one out

having had a car myself thru the SVA, the MOT is required "3 YEARS FROM DATE OF REGISTRATION". I had to put my car recently thru its 1st MOT. Had no problem whatsoever.
