Second car insurance and NCB
I know this has probably been asked a million times!
I've bought a scooby but I want to keep my old car as my main run-a-bout.. I've got Full NCB on my old car so technically I cant use that on the scooby.
I'm currently insured with RAC and they have said they can give me an "introductory offer" of Full NCB on the scooby if i go with them which brings the policy out at £631 FC with no commuting.. Which is still quite steep for Turbo 2000..
Are there any recommended insurers for this sort of thing?
Cheers guys and gals!

In your situation, yes, you would.
I was insured with them on one car and when I bought the second one they insured me for 6 months so that the 2 renewal dates coincided. Similarly, when I added a 3rd car to the policy it was insured for only 2 months to coincide with the renewal.
The only problem is that it does make it a bit "lumpy" when the renewal comes through, as it did on Saturday morning

I'm half way through my policy on my original car so dont want to loose half a year NCB
Think I'll have to go with RAC and start a new policy for the scooby then go from there..

I've got a strange addiction to big 4x4's though, but they make for rather boring "fun cars"... lol..
Looks like I'll be paying 630 squids then .. bah!
