Tyres
Looking to get some 18 P-ff7 wheels and am torn between tyres.
Fancy giving Parada 2's or F1's a try. They will be used for road use only.
However, when i've been looking for prices, the Parada's only seem available as a 'W' rating (up to 168).Whilst i appreciate i'll never be doing anything like these speeds i was just wondering if anyone knew the reason for this, the F1's are 'Y' rated (186mph).
Both seem comparatively priced if bought seperately although i have seen the Parada's at £78 if bought with the wheels. The cheapest F1's i can find are £93 on their own.
Can i assume the 'W' rating on the Parada's is the norm and would be more than sufficient ?
I've done a search and people's views on both these are very similar, although the F1's may last a bit longer ?
Cheers

Im guessing - because I've never used Paradas - that because these are aimed more at trackday usage than a road tyre(?) they are softer compound & will therefore heat up more at speed??? Being softer, this would be the reason they may not last as long as the F1s....
Plenty of tyre experts on here though with lots of opinions............
