Default New Type R owner

Hi everyone

Picked up my Type R at the weekend totally loving it! It just pulls like a train and handles like its on rails

My only concern is the steering is really heavy at low speeds when parking etc is this normal or could it be the power steering pump?

cheers in advance!

It may just be as you say and needs the fluid topping up, mine starts to whine on full lock when the level is low so I just top it up and it's fine.

yep just good quality fluid, and as for modding just open your wallet and throw your money at it,I'm scared to add up how much I've spent.

I have had this happen to me in the past before. Although not since 1 of my power steering pipes melted and I had to replace all the fluid, so could just need replacing.

Welcome to Type R ownership!! Get some pics up!

If you don't have the DCCD in fully open mode, then i sometimes find the steering to feel heavier at lower speeds.
