Hi I have an MY53 STI which has got some good mods Ive had it remapped, got Miltek decat exhaust from Powerstation, APS cold air induction, APS Top mount (with zero heatsoak issues even in last years record summer) and I still have the stand turbo (I think they are the VF35). It's currently pushing c360bhp. Anyway I like the spooling but just was after some bragging rights for a less than 4 seconds 0 - 60 (at least theoretically according to Lettorquebhp website) anyway I don't really want to change the turbo and current boost is at a max of 1.4 - 1.41 (usually circa 1.38 or less) which I believe is ideal for this turbo, spec). Anything else that can help me get that little bit extra and it's maybe +15bhp is what I need. I hear polished headers may do the trick is this true or just money for doing nothing? I don't really want to lighten the car up as I like the sound deading as is but would consider maybe the lighter propshaft, etc if the opinion on here was it's a worthy upgrade. Note I'm not after a change of car so no suggestions there please just some sensible things I could do to get that last bit more.

I would possibly consider a turbo change if someone out there has changed to a turbo that has the same spool characteristics as the VF35.
