For sale section - delete threads
I think personally that any thread started with "offers" should be deleted.
I am a member on another forum which has adopted this rule and it works very well.

What is the issue with just asking for offers? It reduces the chances of a sale imo, but I don't see the issue.

Same for "testing the water" threads, is it for sale or isn't it? Why not just say you want a bloody fortune for it?

I agree, put a price on it.
Leads to less confusion or the possibility of someone getting ripped off.
