Default Powerstation,etc- do they just do the mapping?

Has anyone had or know whether powerstation, etc map cars without the whole exhaust/filter package?

I already have a H&S 2.5" full decat and green panel filter but their websites only have package prices.

What sort of money am i looking at? I have an 04 JDM STI and am aiming for 350/350 figures

The decat was already on the car - however, are there great benefits to uprating this to a 3" system over the fitted 2.5"? Powerwise and noisewise.

I had mine re-mapped by PS, had been done previously by Power Engineering but was losing boost somewhere. Didn't have anything else done apart from a straight though centre section fitted that I had, already had K&N panel filter took them a while due to a dodgy MAF sensor, £300 + VAT for the mapping. Ring Rich and have a word, very helpful

Powerstation are a tuner like any other so they will do pretty much what they can within their own ability and/or whatever the customer wants. So if you just want a remap then yes, they will just do that for you. It's money for them at the end of the day. Does your car have an ECUTEK licence? If not then it will cost you £550 (+VAT I think also) for the remap licence, then rolling time at a per hour cost after that.

Any additional remapping that you undertake later on in the cars life will only cost you the rolling time as you only pay for the remap licence once.

To my knowledge the Group Buy I set up @ Powerstation for Ecutek Mapping is still current.

£499+VAT, and that price includes rolling road time.

If you remapped again, at any Ecutek tuner it would only cost rolling road time.

Give them a ring, mention the Group Buy on Scoobynet and whether they are still doing it?

If not then the full price is £550+VAT (unless its gone up since last year).

my jdm was mapped previously (with similar mods to yours now) by PS before. You should certainly get there or there abouts regarding the figures you are looking for.

Hi

Best not to ask people who don't know the facts but will give their best opinion.... eg a forum. Ask the poeple who know - Powerstation !!! I've called them with an enquiry before and they don't bite.

If the decat was already on the car has it not already been mapped? These cars are notorious for going wild with boost when decatting and not having them mapped. Out of the box they are 300bhp (there abouts) so even with a 2.5" decat I would imagine it is already around 350bhp?

HTH.

I have used them on Many occasions and found them Professional, friendly and Helpful maybe not the cheapest but lots reccommend them

I would say if you spoke to Peeps who have used Andy F, jolly green monster, Scooby Clinic and TSL etc wil have simular respect

Most can get 350/350 on n 04Sti

They reckon a 2.5 will produce more Torque and be more useable and a 3" exaust will give more BHP and be better on Track etc, IMHO
