Default Engine technical assistance WR1....

Hi All,

Wonder if anyone has had similar experience, or advice on what the problem might be.
Standard WR1 -

Accelerating in either 3rd or 4th gear, about 4500 revs feels like all power is lost, almost like hitting the rev limiter. Carries on accelerating as normal but with engine light on.

Been into dealer to have a new sensor/solanoid fitted but driving back from the dealers earlier happened again.

Anyone had something similar or have an idea what it might be?

Cheers for any help.

P1 Ben

Have you tried the WR1 owners club? wr1oc.co.uk

There was a problem with the turbo hoses when they first released them and they were changed under warranty.

Thanks DCI

I had those replaced when the recall was announced. Not convinced this will be restricted to WR1's. Thought someone might of had the same symptom in an STI or WRX...

Will post on wr1oc as well.

Back to the dealer's for them to take another look. They seemed pretty sure they'd fixed it.
