Default I drove with Tiff!

As you can see from my name im in the Army and for past 2 years have been involved with the new forces military truck. Its a £3.5billion 20yr contract so quite important and apart from doing things to trucks that would make you cringe i had the oppurtunity to take part in a "promotional" DVD which every mil unit will get prior to getting the new vehicle.
The military decided to get someone famous to do some of the presenting and as Jeremy C was too expensive (you dont want to know how much he was going to charge!) they went for Tiff Needell (and he didnt come cheap either!)
Met up with him and cam crew at Ashchurch Mil Veh depot. Showed him around the truck we had and he did some "piece to camera" bits and then i showed him how to drive it and he did another cam piece. Went on like this most of day and it was quite interesting how they do stuff lke this.

Now what has this got to do with Scoobies?? Well instead of taking a mil hire car (astra diesel!) i took my WRX MY53. As i pulled up next to his car he came over to shake hands and said "nice car"!:

And for those of you wondering what the person who held the UK speed record for a production car (Mclaren F1) drives...56 Reg BMW 550 M Sport.

for those interested, this is what you will see Army lads driving on the motorways soon...

Cool looking truck. Just the thing to carry the mountain bikes.
