Default fuel pump

ive just fitted a new exhaust system with turbo d-cat pipe and was just wondering if i need to uprate the fuel pump aswell as i will b using more fuel

can any1 help. i dont no wot to do. should i bother or will the orignal pump b fine

You do not really need a new pump with the mods you stated above.

However a new pump (especially on an older car) will certainly improve the flow rates at higher revs. The pump will not supply more fuel, as the amount is governed by the injectors but it will improve the pressure and consistancy of flow, once again at higher revs. Its about £85 for a high flow Walbro pump which are well respected.
